Some Users Getting $4 in Extra Credits from Facebook

The world’s largest social network on its blog post announced that Facebook users with a certain set of criteria could get up to $4 in extra Facebook credits for each dollar they spend. However, the deal is restricted to special promotions and is not there for all users.

You can opt for two ways to get the extra Credits that are effective at the moment. In first method, you need to be lucky enough to catch an ad that will extend the offer for you. While in the second method, user can redeem $1 purchase for up to $5 (including Facebook’s free credits) for in-app currency. Image will tell you the whole story:

To conclude the post, Facebook’s disclaimer states that user will have to make the purchase through a credit card or PayPal account. Also, the users who are provided with the offer “may not have previously purchased on Facebook.” One can assume that the chance of seeing the extra Credit options will be higher for those who have not previously purchased credits via the site.

It is not yet confirmed whether the offer has taken off in reality or not. We don’t even get much from the social networking giant’s S-1, pre-IPO filing. So, this move from the Facebook seems to be an impressive one as this will help draw more new customers by giving them free money.
