LG is not the only mobile phone maker which is consecrating that it will launch no tablet before its time. Motorola, the US based company, is also following the similar announcement and stated it on Sept 16. At a conference of Bank technology investors in Deutsche, Sanjay Jha, the co- CEO of Motorola, said that the company is a waiting for the most reliable operating system for its device. He also added that any tablet that is launched, LG Company wants to be sure that it is challenging to other gadgets in the market and Sanjay said that all of them will make it certain that the launch occurs only when it reaches up to the mark and it may be in early next year, hopefully.

Those devices that do and those that do not run market will be unit specific, but Froyo is not modified to achieve maximum efficiency on tablets, as reported by Barra. If one wants the applications to run Android Market on that platform, it just wouldn’t; as Froyo is not made just for that grade factor. Yet, some of the major companies are not willing or even unable to wait for its optimization. For instance, Galaxy Tab was already unleashed by Samsung and also a larger version of Samsungs’ Galaxy phones. Dell also launched its tablet ‘the Streak’. Both these tablet computers run Android 1.6 Operating System. Research in Motion (RIM), the maker of Blackberry Smartphones, last week announced its tablet, “the Blackberry playbook” which will run a Neutrino, a new operating system developed by QNX.
