Lenovo has been creating tablet computers for more than a year now, but none has yet reached the commercial market.

At last years’ CES the company announced the launch of the IdeaPad U1, a hybrid computer that included a detachable touchscreen and which could be used as a tablet. The device was expected to retail for under $1,000, but its release has been delayed.

A Lenovo executive earlier also said that the company could be launching a ThinkPad tablet for businesses as an expansion to its business laptop offerings.

We look forward to the CES announcements and hopefully, this year Lenovo will be ready to release its tablet computers.
