We have decided to pitch this phone against the HD3 soon to be launched by HTC, another giant in the mobile industry. In terms of internal memory, both phones are at par with 8GB embedded for storing and accessing media and other files with great ease. The HTC HD3 runs on the most recent Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft with a Qualcomm snap dragon processor running at 1GHz while the Nokia X6 still houses the good old Symbian. The Symbian is relatively better known and respected by users on smart phones, though the processor of the X6 is a bit lower at 434MHz on the ARM architecture. These are just some of the key features that can be used as leverage in the competitive space by both phones. Others are still outlined below, some similar to each other while others have slight differences.

In terms of screen size, the HTC HD3 is a full inch ahead of the Nokia X6 with a 4.3 inch capacitive touch enabled screen when compared to the 3.2 inches of the Nokia X6, though of same quality. In same way like the internal memory, both phones equally have cameras at 5 mega pixels, though the HD3’s camera comes in-built with dual LED flash and auto focus. However, there is almost no difference noted in the quality of photos taken by both devices, except for the larger screen size on the HD3.

In terms of physical size and weight, lovers of cute devices will go for the Nokia X6 with passion because it is sleeker and smaller than the HTC HD3. The real thing is that the HD3 has to prove that it can really compete in the market on the platform of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 7, bearing in mind the failure of the Microsoft Kin some time back. However, phone running on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile version 6 are making waves in the market.

Finally, be it for music, internet connectivity and others, both phones can serve well. But, we believe the Nokia X6 is currently ahead because we have it now and there is already a follow up to the X6 with 16GB memory.
