Galaxy Tab from Samsung was Unboxed for Sprint

Let’s take a short interface shot and hands-on hardware before we go into the full review of the tablet. Hyped to be a real straight competitor for the iPad of Apple, Galaxy Tab from Samsung is hitting the market. Before going in to testing that unveils the features of it, let us take few unboxing shots which unveil everything that are obtainable while buying Galaxy Tab. The review unit of Galaxy Tab had only a FedEx box which is packed in a bubble wrap having only the power cord.  There is no documentation, no good packaging and no nothing. But still we tried to present you a glimpse of the device and hence took lots of hands-on photos of the interface and hardware. As the whole world is waiting for the high-end first Android tablet and tablet talk is taking place allover, Galaxy tab has unboxed a video that shows us what is present in the galaxy tab.

All the four major cell carriers of US will have galaxy tab available on them and it first comes on Sprint version for review. An announcement was made yesterday that the tab will be sold by the Sprit for $399.99 on November 14th which comes in a contract for two years. Dual data plans will be offered by the carrier i.e. Sprint for the Galaxy Tab which include a 2GB data plan costing $29.99 for every month which has unlimited message offer and a 5GB data plan priced around $59.99 which also has unlimited message offer. Pre-orders for Galaxy Tab can be placed on the web site of Sprint from 1st November i.e. on Monday.

Last week in a report, Verizon said that the sale of galaxy tab will be starting from 11th November for a cost of $599.99 which doesn’t require any contract. No announcement was made regarding the details of price or availability dates by T-Mobile and AT&T about their Galaxy Tab versions.

The retail packing has got a Samsung headset, power adapter, USB cable/ Standard adapter and the normal paper work. This device is a splendid one though U.S. version has no voice-call feature, when tested in Austin at Android BBQ. Hopefully unboxing can be done by our won soon.

Galaxy Tab has got the following features like it runs on Android 2.2 Operating System. It features a 7 inch WS VGA with an improved TFT display. It runs a Hummingbird processor Cortex A8 running at a speed of 1 GHz. It also features a front-facing camera, Touch Wiz UI, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity along with Bluetooth and an expandable Micro SD upto 32 GB.

This tab is pretty awesome and is getting unboxed earlier than the anticipated time. This is a gorgeous device and surely every person accepts this.

It runs Flash 10.1 and web surfing doesn’t take more than 15 mins, which appears very cool. Availability and pricing is not announced yet officially by the company. People and gadget freaks all over the world are waiting for the unboxing of the device soon.
