File Synchronization Setup and Options:

As   third-party applications are locked up by iPhone in the file systems of their own, getting documents on phone is little tough.  Data Viz allows syncing of the app from air or Google docs will also be transferred. Editing and viewing of files in CSV files, RTF, Microsoft formats, and Open Document will be supported by Google Docs.  How ever, other services like Box.net, Drop box, iDisk from Mobile Me are not supported by thus DocumentsToGo app. Files will not be synced without a desktop client locally.  Installation of DocumentsToGo app on desktop is really simple. Sometimes loading the app seems to be little difficult. Office 2008 and 2007 are supported by this app and also sees PDF and iWork. The attachments are viewed and edited by the app in Gmail and Microsoft Exchange. This app reads files that are password protected, supports multiple redo and undo levels, supports documents that are hyperlinked.  The app’s basic version priced $9.99 and later is available for free now.

Editing of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel:

The main UI shows a toolbar at the bottom which has icons for normal tasks like altering the format and saving files. The toolbar can be swiped right or left with the thumb. The main interface will be visible in any mode like landscape or portrait.  Cells in the portrait and landscape modes can be edited. Landscape outlook is very impressive with a fixed bar on top and many icons of toolbar at the bottom.  There is no problem in loading the PowerPoint files that already exist. The facilities of editing are not very sophisticated in the app. You can reorder the slides, demote or promote bullets, edit outline, speaker notes and text. But adding new graphs, effects and changing font is not enabled by the app. The app seems to be good for last minute changes in slide.

Document formatting for the files of desktop is retained well by Data Viz app. Synchronizations of files is always faster and its usage on iPhone is very easy.  On the whole, work can be done best on iPod Touch and iPhone of apple.
